  • Follow me feature: The 'follow me' button on the remote ensures that the air conditioner will maintain the set temperature, regardless of where you are in the room. Without this feature, we find that many air conditioners will stop cooling or heating because they only measure the temperature where the unit is located.
  • Dehumidifying operation: In DRY mode, the system will make the air in your room less humid for extra comfort. The air conditioner will automatically alternate between cooling and fan-only modes to remove humidity from the air. You can set the temperature anywhere from 62F - 86F in 1 F increments.
  • Louver Position Memory: The horizontal louver will automatically return to the last-used position when the unit is turned on again, so you don't have to remember.
  • Auto mode feature: The mini split has an auto mode that automatically selects the heating or cooling function by sensing the difference between the room's current temperature and the desired temperate set on the remote control.
  • Sleep mode on remote: The sleep mode on this machine will automatically change the temperature to make sure you are comfortable at night. If it is in COOL mode, the unit will increase the temperature by 2°F after 1 hour, and then an additional 2°F after another hour. After 1 hour in HEAT mode, the unit will decrease the temperature by 2°F. It will then decrease an additional 2°F after another hour. After 7 hours in SLEEP mode, the system will switch off automatically.

Warranty Details

Sunpentown International Inc. warrants our products to be defect free in material and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase. Defective products may be sent back by the original purchaser or any subsequent owner within the warranty period, with proof of purchase date to Sunpentown Int’l.


Defective products will be repaired or replaced, at manufacturer’s discretion, free of charge. All replacement parts or units will be new or reconditioned. Parts or units, which are replaced, become the property of Sunpentown. Warranty after repair or replacement will not be extended beyond the original one-year period.


The warranty does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with, nor to damages incurred through improper use and care, faulty packing or mishandling by any common carrier.


The warranty does not apply to any unit that has been used outside of the US.

What is NOT Covered

  • Warranty does not include freight charges. 
  • Units used outside of the US 
  • Damage due to installation error, product abuse and/or misuse. 
  • Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects with this product. 
  • Labor cost incurred for the installation and/or removal of a possible defective unit. 
  • Damage to product caused by improper power supply voltage, accident, fire, floods or acts of nature. 
  • Failure of product resulting from unauthorized modifications to the product. 
  • Improper installation or failure to perform the necessary maintenance. 
  • Normal wear and tear on parts or replacement of parts designed to be replaced. 
  • Damage to personal property from use of product. · 
  • Replacement or repair of household fuses, circuit breakers, wiring or plumbing.

Repairs not covered by this warranty may be returned to Sunpentown, postage prepaid. All repairs or services will be performed at current cost for parts and labor plus return postage. Please carefully box your package for shipping and it is HIGHLY recommended to return product by insured or by traceable means. Sunpentown is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any packages lost or damaged by any of the carriers.


Manufacturer’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty are limited to such repair or replacement. This is a limited warranty and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. 


You may also have other legal rights varying from state to state. If you have service or repair questions:

Do not return the product to the retailer from which it was purchased.

If it is determined that you should return your product for repair or replacement – send the product along with your name, contact info and brief description of the problem to:

If the inspection shows that the product is defective, under our Limited Warranty, Sunpentown will attempt to repair or will replace the defective part or product at no cost to you.


Comparable substitutions are based on replacement product availability and at the sole discretion of the Manufacturer. If our inspection shows that the product is not defective under our Limited Warranty we will return it to you shipping charges prepaid.


Please note that the inspection process can take 7~10 business days from receipt of your product. Replacements and/or repairs normally take 2~5 working days, but can tack up to 6 weeks depending on product/part availability.

All orders ship free. We ship hundreds of orders daily to our happy customers. We keep them happy by being very responsive and transparent about shipping times. We take great care in ensuring that our products are handled and packaged carefully.

Order Processing: Our quality assurance and order verification process is critical to ensuring that you receive your products on time and in great condition. We perform sound tests, quality checks, and packaging inspections on every order before it is sent to our warehouse.

This careful process usually takes 1-2 days, but in some cases, it may take up to 3 days.

We serve primarily in the lower 48 of the United States of America. If you are ordering from Hawaii and/or Alaska and other regions, please reach out to us directly and we will give you a quote.

If you want to ship us internationally, please let us know.

Shipping Costs and insurance: Shipping costs. Shipping is currently free for all orders. However, some orders to Hawaii and Alaska may incur a small fee. There may also be customs charges based on the countries we are shipping to.


We take great care of products in our shipping process, so if anything arrives damaged, just let us know and we'll send you a new one. It's quite rare that any items get broken when they're shipped but it does happen, which is why we take great care in using packaging that ensure safety of your items.


We offer 30 days returns. We will always try our best to accommodate your return requests.
